This place is clean, located in a charming French-style building, with friendly staff and spacious rooms with large bathrooms.

Large and exceptionally nice rooms with large bathroom available. The breakfasts with home made goods.

Very friendly welcome. We arrived quite late but the manager couldn't have been more helpful. He recommended a restaurant nearby (very good, with friendly owner) and even rushed a few doors down the road to book a table for us.He provided us with a map and showed us which areas of interest to visit.A very pleasant stay !

The suite had a spacious bathroom and a comfortable large double bed.

Relaxing,friendly and comfortable.. Breakfast lovely, we always looked forward to it.

You do hear a few street noises early in the morning, if you don't want to be woken too early it's probably not for you.....tea and coffee making facilities would have been great.

Nice room, but not big for a family as we were travelling. Near a market, if you get there on Fri/Sat. Near other nice places.

Internet didn't work but could be a problem with my PC. No one at reception after 21.00.

This place is conveniently located near local facilities, historic attractions, restaurants, bars, and a great market.

Room basic but clean - good location for eating out in the evening. Ok for overnight stay.

The accommodation here is clean, the staff is friendly, and the beds are very comfortable; the location is convenient, with easy access to a market and shops, making it fantastic for walking around.

The hotel was good value. The breakfasts were very good. The food was excellent and well presented. The decor in all the rooms was tasteful. The couple who own the hotel were friendly. The location was very good, in the heart of Rochefort, and also very convenient for visiting other places nearby, such as La Rochelle.

We arrived on a Sunday as 17:15. There was a message on the door of the hotel saying that it would open at 18:00. We waited outside. The owners opened the doors at 18:00. After booking in, I pointed out that our booking form says clearly that we could arrive any time after 14:00. They said that on Sunday they open at 18:00 for arrivals. They said that they had tried to get the booking people to state this but that they wouldn'T. I pointed out that if we had arrived at 14:00, for instance, we would have had no access to the hotel for 4 hours. They were not in the least apologetic about the issue, which they insist is not to do with them. I and my wife were not at all amused by this start to our visit. However, we enjoyed our six days at the hotel. If a hotel is not open at its normal time on a particular day (probably Sunday in most cases), why can this not be stated on the booking information? I am perfectly willing to put this information in a separate letter to Logis de France.

This place always provides a pleasant stay with clean rooms, friendly staff, and nice city views, plus a good restaurant.

Hotel with charm; cozy and convenient for city trip. Very friendly and attentive staff in the reception. We really enjoyed every minute spent in this hotel. Thank You!
